10/10/2008 at Boulder pub. Mountain Sun 1000 Double IPA with Amarillo cascade and simcoe. Nice catty nose. Beautiful dark amber orange with small white head. Citrus and grapefruit hop flavors with amber malts. Medium body and mouthfeel with moderately sweet grapefruit finish. Dangerously drinkable. Nicely balanced bitterness and malty sweetness.
