Oct 13, 2008 Draught at Mountain Sun. Pours amber with an average, frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is average malt (straw, cereal, meal), heavy hops (flowers, pine, grapefruit), average yeast (sweat, musty) with notes of alcohol, apple, pear, and peach. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

Oct 10, 2008 Draft @ Mountain Sun. Dark unfiltered rusty orange color. Huge nose of pulp-heavy overripe oranges, thick, viscous, sharp on the tongue, appropriately bitter and awash in bitter citrus pulp and honey-flavored hop cones. Almost feels sludgy. A little messy overall, and becomes difficult to drink towards the end of the glass, but it’s primary function is as a hop delivery vehicle, and in that respect it succeeds.

Oct 9, 2008 On tap at the Rock. Cloudy gold/amber pour...minimal off-white head. Citrusy aroma...some hops and sweet malt. Big Simcoe slam in the flavor....great mouthfeel too. After two glasses my palate was hop scorched....superb. Hope there’s more left tonight!

Oct 7, 2008 On tap @ Falling Rock poured a hazy copper with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of orange, tangerine, light pine and ight carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, orange,tangerine and light carmel with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.
