Draught at 4th Annual Wildland Firefighters Benefit & Festival at the Pumphouse in Longmont CO. Pours coppery sunset with a small off-white head with lined lacing. Aroma is fruity (peach, apple) and honey, malt (meal, cake). Malty honey and fruit flavor, medium sweetness and meal, cake notes. Light bodied and creamy that goes dry.

Sampled at the International Mead Fest, Boulder, Co. Beer poured a hazy, medium yellow-brown color with a small, frothy, off-white, quickly and mostly diminishing head. The aroma is just a trace malty with notes of cookie and caramel, lighlty hoppy with a ligh note of flowers, just a trace yeasty with a note of dough and miscellaneous notes of peach and honey. The flavor was lightly sweet, lightly bitter with a long, moderately acidic, moderately bitter finish. The body was light-to-medium, the texture was watery, the carbonation was lively and there was a light astringency in the finish. Worth seeking out again!
