| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 6, 2009 Tap at Vine Street - well, she looks nice - dark brown with an impressive tan head - surprisingly sweet for a dry stout, and lacking the dry, hard water/mineral character you would expect from the style - some fairly strong roastiness, slight coffee, but nothing I would call "dry" - flavors of milk chocolate, some dark fruit - creamy, medium-bodied - okay.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Tap at brewpub. Pours a deep black with an aroma of plastic chocolate powder. Flavor is blunt chocolate rounded out with a chalky powder of chocolate and nuts. Average mouthfeel. For some reason, I wrote "Whoah!" for my overall impression in my notes. I’ll probably never remember why... BeerandBlues2 (3227), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2009 Updated: Sep 26, 2009Draught from brewpub. Pours black with a tint of brown. Big tan head that thins quickly with some nice lacing. Smells of roasted malts and coffee. Relatively bland in comparison to other stouts, but adds an element of drinkability and refreshment that is not found in more serious stouts. Braudog (3773), Dayton, Ohio, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2009 On nitro at Vine St. Pub. Dark black but still brown, don’t ask. It smells slightly like a stout but it is faint. The taste is subtle and hard to discern but I think an Irish stout is hiding in there. The nitro made for a smooth mouth-feel and as such this was easy to down. Overall, eh.
