Commercial Description:
Mellow and refreshing with a slight dryness and crisp hoppiness. This California Golden Ale is the perfect “session” beer, an excellent ale that compliments all occasions.

Bottle 650ml.
Clear medium orange amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, moderate hoppy, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090813]

Hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma of oat and orange. Taste is weak and grainy, very plain.

BOMBER. Pours a hazy amber orange body with an off white head. Fruity apple like esters with some zest y spices. Hints of lemon wheat and bread y notes. A bit dull and grainy with a hint of honey in the finish. Perfect, should not be in the description.

Draft at Radio Maria in Champaign, IL. Pours golden with a thin dissipating white head. Honey like aroma. Flavor of biscuit, honey, and lemon zest. Light bodied with out being watering. Clean finish. This is a good lawnmower beer, and this does not deserve a low rating. I suspect that this is a victim of the ratebeer bias toward light bodied session beers.

Earthy, floral, and citrus aroma. Golden-oragne, very forthy white head, and bubbly. Earth, floarl, and mild citrus flavours. Not the "perfect" session beer.

Darkish golden pour with a thick white head. Straw, hay aroma with some underlying sweetness. Very thin and light body. Hay, earthy flavor... again, very light. Finish is abrupt and leaves no residual flavors. I would agree with the brewers description that this is a session beer but not a very great one...

Bottle 65 cl. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body, sweet malts and basically nothing else. No bitterness. 130809

Pours a hazy orange with off white head. Aroma of yeast, slight hops and spice. Similar taste, grainy. Kind of thin, easy to drink, definitely a session beer
