Commercial Description:
Mellow and refreshing with a slight dryness and crisp hoppiness. This California Golden Ale is the perfect “session” beer, an excellent ale that compliments all occasions.

Bottle from Beerfest at Sudwerk in Davis, CA. I was none too impressed with this brew. It was like a weak lager/pilsner mix.

6 ounce sample poured from a bottle at the Davis Beerfest. Metallic, lightly spicy, grainy aroma. A touch of floral hops are also in there. Transparent golden body with a nice, frothy white head that leaves decent lacing. Sweet, malty, lightly peaty start. Plenty of maltiness in the middle...caramel and a bit of crystal malts. Low carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. Low on hops. Meh.

Bottle from the Beer Fest in Davis, CA. Poured a golden color with a medium-sized head. One of my worst beers of the day. Definatell a dry beer with malty taste, but nothing really stood out. There was a hint of metallic flavor during the aftertaste. Not one of the better offerings from Moylans.

I found this to be quite enjoyable. Crisp and zesty, it has a nice head and good light crisp taste and finish. Definitely the beer I was looking for right now.

Pours a decent looking golden color with a hint of red. Nose is subtly sweet and malty, with a touch of passion fruit(?) The flavor is similar, with a touch of yeast. Not bad.

Bottle: Another for the RateBeerians taste night in San Salvador. Thins, slight smokey coffee burnt taste. Drinkable.

Drank it at pollo’s house. Pours very golden with white head. Light bodied, very sweet and malty.
