I’m surprised this one is rated so low - definitely enjoyable for me. Nothing about it is huge or complex, but I found it very drinkable. Smells clean and fruity, almost flowery. Very crisp and light, with a wonderful apple and grapefruit hop taste that finishes with decent presence without being cloying. Slightly sweet through all the crispness of the hops, though the malt taste is very subdued. The mouthfeel is light, and it finishes clean and dry. Would be an excellent pair to fried foods. Extremely good for a "lawnmower beer" choice too.

Bomber from Bottle Barn. Aroma of caramel/lightly roasted malt (sort of honey/toffee) and floral hop. A deep inhale is interesting. An orangy golden color with a white head that ringed rapidly, leaving lace tatters. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. It starts floral, but soon comes up with rough roasted malt accompanied by light sweetness. It’s also lightly fruit in a peachy/apricoty way. Very much in an apricoty way. It’s actually pretty darn complex, and that is an indication this is underrated. The finish is neither sweet nor dry. The bitter is floral, so I’d guess about 40 IBU. Although bitter builds with continued consumption. I’d forgotten how talented those folks at Moylans are. This is extremely enjoyable ale. Crisp, clean, lightly spicey. Everything ale should be. Wonderful.

Crisp, refreshing golden ale. Pours clear gold with a puffy white head. Clean, grassy, floral aroma with some honey, grains, and straw. Cereal taste with lighter malt. The glazed donuts is a great call by JDIPSO. Sweet, hop finish.

22 oz. bomber bottle, no freshness date, sampled in a nonic glass. Slightly hazy and orange hued yellowish golden appearance, small creamy white head that quickly settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking. A big all-malt aroma, mainly raw, musty pale cereal grains. Traces of floral leafy, honey-like hops. Smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel, firmed up by the active carbonation. Raw cereal grains again, no malty sweetness until at the end. It’s a pale malt sugary that is light and not long lasting. I am wondering if the American variety of Tettnanger hops are being utilized, the hops have a herbal spiciness, but also provide a subtle sweet honey flavor too. I search the web to little result. Finishes crisp and dry with a lingering spiciness. I too did a Google search on this and I can understand the cream ale aspect, there are some cream ale qualities. I also detected some all-malt lager qualities, all-malt ingredients with ale yeast. There is one thing I don’t understand, the description on the bottle and at the website says "sweet and fruity," and those are words I would not use to describe this ale from Moylan’s.

An unimpressive beer. Straw gold body with a frothy off-white head. Aroma was slightly sweet with notes of sweet malt, some piney hops, cereal, and bread. Light bodies and fizzy. The taste was a bit sweet with a light amount of hops bitterness in the finish.

Tasted at Stone XI Party. Clear deep yellow with a fizzy white head. Malty and bready aroma and taste with some hoppiness evident in the finish.

LIghtly hazed, light straw colored liquid. Somewhat billowy white head. Head looks sudsy and artificial. Very pale malt and grassy hops in the aroma. A touch grain and citric as well. There are parts that I like and parts that just don’t fit. Very light flavors of stale pale malt and honey. Tastes of glazed donuts that are a couple days old. Finish has a nice light honey component. Sort of watery from the lack of depth. Not much more than a pale lager brewed with an ale yeast. Simple stuff.

Bomber from Windy City. Hazy golden color upon pouring. Very light aroma with a little graininess. Light grainy flavor with some earthy hoppiness. Not too bad. Just not super flavorful.
