6 ounce sample poured from a bottle at the Davis Beerfest. Metallic, lightly spicy, grainy aroma. A touch of floral hops are also in there. Transparent golden body with a nice, frothy white head that leaves decent lacing. Sweet, malty, lightly peaty start. Plenty of maltiness in the middle...caramel and a bit of crystal malts. Low carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. Low on hops. Meh.

Jul 13, 2008 500ml bottle. spicy and fruity aroma, medium head. head disappeared quickly. ok lacing. sweat, citrusy zesty flavor. malty after taste. ok, but wouldn’t buy the stock.
