This one takes an eternity to pour, so it requires a patient bartender. It’s worth the wait though. This one is not about complexity, but character. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 23, 2009 22 oz bottle. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malt with a bit of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is a nice balance of sweet chocolate malt and bitter roasted coffee. Medium to full body with average carbonation and a long dry finish. Overall a really nice Stout, lots of flavor and very rich for a 5% beer.
