It smells and looks like iced coffee... maybe some roasted coffee beans. The body was thin almost watery... quickly dissipating medium/high carbonation.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Nov 25, 2009 22 oz bottle from Spirits RB. Poured a thin black body with a smaller tight foamy beige head. Aroma was odd to put it nicely. Notes of vinegar dominated with chocolate, soy sauce, rotting dark fruit meat and roastiness. The flavor had a serious acidic vinegar soy flavor to it, but luckily that quickly dies down and some roasty and grainy flavors take over. Still not that great of a beer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours a real dark brown/black,thick brown hued head with good retention. Strong malty aroma. Kind of earthy flavor to the malt, reminds me of sunflower seeds. High mouthfeel with medium carbonation.
