Source: 22 oz bottle purchased in Washington DC.
Glass: Poured into my Karmeliet tulip glass.
Appearance: Poured a hazy amber/gold color with a one finger white head.
Aroma: Heavy with pine and citrus, mainly grapefruit. Very clean.
Flavor: Solid malt backbone, but the hops are the star. Sticky pine and citrus all over the place. Well integrated..
Palate: Medium/full body with solid carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel.
Overall: Great IIPA. Nothing subtle about this one. All hops, but very clean.

Apr 25, 2009 On tap at the Bocktown, nice place. Looks like pale american lager. Smells line pine tree sap. Bitter sappy oily initial palate. Hey, did you wash the dish soap out of this glass? Wew, way too in yer face. Needs manners. Ruining and roto-tilling my taste buds. Has some surprizing carbonation. Did you ever chew on green grapefruit rinds? Later dude, Rude and crude finish. On style.

Apr 24, 2009 Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a low lasting sticky white foam. Bright and really hoppy aroma of lychee, flowers, orange-peels and grapefruit: Medium to full-bodied with notes of pine-needles, grass, grapefruit with sweetish undertones of tangerine. Clean mouthfeel. Long bitter finish of grapefruit and resin with touches of peppery alcohol.l

Apr 22, 2009 Bottle. Thick with hop funk aroma...floral, grapefruit and pine blast out of the bottle. Nice clear amber colour with a good lacing that sticks to the glass like taffy. Robust flavour profile with chewy, complex hop complexities. Alcohol well integrated. Tongue puckering hop bitterness lingers for a very long time. Loved it!

Apr 19, 2009 poured pretty clear, amber colored, lots of head. super hoppy grapefruit/citrus aroma. taste has loads of hop flavor... a bunch of hop bitterness with piney hop flavor and some caramel malt mixed in. def the hoppiest thing i’ve ever had... pretty intense

Apr 18, 2009 On tap. Springy floral aroma and a persistent light head. The flavor is all out varied hops, pine and grapefruit. It is a little dry and hides the 9.2 ABV well, but it is a touch harsh and shellacky, as if you could use it on your deck or something. But this is still a good IPA.

Apr 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours an orange amber body with an off white head. Lots of floral hops, piny, citrus with a moderate amount of caramel malts. Some nice fresh hop character a hint of pineapple and some light spicy resins. Good brew fresh.

Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of apricots, fresh ripe fruit, caramel, pine, light citrus and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, grapefruit, floral hops, some lighter hints of honey and caramel. Generally light body with a bitter and hoppy finish.
