It’s very dangerous to wave to someone you don’t know because what if they don’t have a hand? They’ll think you’re cocky. "Look what I got motherfucker! This thing is useful. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Amber/Copperish pour with an off-white head that lingers. Good retention. Sticky looking lace. Delicious appearance. Aroma is fresh pineapple, pine tree. Flavor starts off grapefruit with pineapple right behind it in the middle, finishing with just a touch of the malty sweetness. Bitter all the way through. Average carbonation, medium body. Amazing finish - feels like my mouth is stuffed with fresh hops. At $10.99, I didn’t think it would be worth it. I was wrong, what a fool I am. Allen (1335), Switzerland
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 7, 2009 Bottled 650ml. Courtesy of badlizard. Appearance: It pours a clear bright amber beer with a small off white head. Good lacework. Aroma: Very hoppy. I don’t now if there this beer has been brewed (or used to be brewed) with Tomahawk, but there is definately a lovely hop profile to it. source: http://www.moylans.com/site/pages/brewery/beer.php Hints of devonshire cream, grapefruit, hop resin, peach and apricot. Flavor and palate: Very good. Strong bitterness which is balanced by a good caramel presence. The finish reminds me of chewing on a leaf of sage. Overall impression: There no such thing as a triple IPA. Good description though. Very hoppy. Not a far cry from other Imperial IPAs, just simply flawless. I wish I could buy such good beers here in Switzerland. Thanks a lot badlizard! sebletitje (1903), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2009 As the picture shows, it now says Hopsickle Imperial Ale, not Imperial India Pale Ale.
Appearance: Pours a clear, yet dark copper body with a foamy, cream colored head. The head starts out at 2 inches, and subsides to a creamy 1 inch after a few minutes of rest.
Aroma: Fresh cut pineapple, grapefruit, and a small touch of pine.
Taste: A mixture of bitter hops and a big mouthful of caramel malt. Leaves a bitter hop aftertaste after the sweetness fades away. The pineapple I found in the aroma also peaks its head in and out.
Mouthfeel: Heavy, thick, syrupy and creamy. Very carbonated as well giving it a spicy fizzy texture.
Overall: Anyone looking for a real bitter beer can look no further. An insane amount of bitter and dry hopping went into this, as well as tons of malt. I true example of a well made California Imperial IPA. markwise (1175), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
