stchloe (473), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 28, 2009 It smells like pouring a pine tree, but the hop profile is vegetative with a hint of citrus. Of course this is bitter as hell, and wonderful for it. Frovigalning (382), , Sweden Sep 24, 2009 Bottle at SBWF 2009. Lots of grassy hops and a high bitterness. Also some citrus and grapefruit. Very nice DIPA. jumpjet2k (135), Austin, Texas, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bomber. Nice off-white head on a clear copper beer. Strong piney aroma fills the air as I pour. Bitter! Dominated by hops, of course. They’re strong in citrus and a bit grassy, which is pleasant. Fairly dry on the finish. This one’s potent - fairly certain it’s the bitterest beer I’ve had. There’s no question that this beer is all about the hops. gyllenbock (238), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 22, 2009 Bottle at SBWF. Very hoppy beer, almost too hoppy. But still rather drinkable. A lot of grape in the flavor and taste. CanIHave4Beers (831), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Sep 22, 2009 Pours a bright orange color with a medium slightly loose head that leaves a little lace. The aroma is piney and resiny with a big hop aroma and a little fruitiness. The flavor is fruity with some citrus, mainly grapefruit. The beer is particularly bitter and has a little bit of spiciness, hardly any malt flavor gets through on this one; I think that’s the point. This is pretty tasty. keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Sep 21, 2009 Mine poured a hazy amber with a small clinging head that laced nicely. Wonderful malty, grapefruit aroma if that makes any sense. Flavor starts malty sweet followed by an intense hop hit. Fantastic dry finish that leaves you wanting more. Very warming on the way down. finol (474), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden Sep 21, 2009 Bottle at Oliver Twist (@ SBWF)
Hoppy aroma of tropical fruits. Probably the second most bitter IPA Ive had after Stone Ruintation hirigalzkar (544), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 21, 2009 Bottle. Fresh candy hops in aroma. The taste is epically bitter. This one is dangerous hoppy. OMG!
