Oct 2, 2009 On tap at flying saucer. Pours a clear orange with a small frothy white head that leaves good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is very hoppy with grapefruit and spice. Medium mouthfeel with a very hoppy flavor with alcohol very present and a nice bitter finish. A very good IIPA from Moylans.

Sep 30, 2009 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a hazy, deep amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma has loads of piny & citrus hop notes. Flavor is strong pine & grapefruit with a sharp hop bitter, malty solid flavor. Mouth feel is med-heavy body with medium-high carbonation. Overall, VERY good shit!!!!

Sep 30, 2009 lots of piney hops in the nose and even more in the flavors...there were no malts to make a backbone behind massive amounts of hops...if this were labelled as a standard IPA my score (and opinion) would have been much higher, but for a double there should have been alot more balance.

Sep 29, 2009 Thanks to Savvy1982 for the share. Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a small white head. Aroma is super hoppy, you can smell the alpha acid! Smells like green leafy hops, honey, caramel, skunk, citrus, and pine. Tastes like chewing on a hop pellet. Great rolling oily bitterness. Very good!

Sep 28, 2009 (Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 27 Sep 2009) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Slightly hazy. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with orange peel, apricots, grapefruit, pine needles and resin. Loads of hops in a long, bitter finish with a warming touch of alcohol. Grainy malt to back it up. More than medium body, balanced sweetness. You might call it one dimensional, but the hop character is quite stunning and in lovely balance. A hop heads wet dream. Lovely beer!

Sep 28, 2009 It smells like pouring a pine tree, but the hop profile is vegetative with a hint of citrus. Of course this is bitter as hell, and wonderful for it.

Sep 24, 2009 Bottle at SBWF 2009. Lots of grassy hops and a high bitterness. Also some citrus and grapefruit. Very nice DIPA.
