This one is full of glorious hops... This has to be the hoppiest beer I’ve had to date. With it’s under 100 IBU rating, it drinks and tastes more like a 200 IBU beer... If you’re a hophead you will love this beer - if not, you will hate it. This beer is loaded and loaded with hops. Pours a deep orange/amber with a nice size white head... huge hoppy, piney aromas... the hoppy bitterness hits your palate immediately and flows over the entire palate with abundance... huge long lasting finish which leaves the hops on your palate for a good while after your done... piney, hoppy and just damn good.... a new favorite for sure... | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Pours clear amber. Minimal white head with some lacing. Aroma of heavy hops, citrus & simcoe present. Taste is very hoppy, with minimal malt. Mix of hops is great here. Not oddly bitter, but very smooth and pleasant. This is one of my favorite IPA/IIPAs. Very nice mix here with a great body. 17thfloor (1445), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Really nice brew. A somewhat cloudy amber with a small yellow head. Nice hoppy aroma. Solid mouthfeel, a little caramel maltiness but mostly an interesting combination of hop flavors. A little alcohol in the finish. Nice. NobleSquirrel (1105), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2008 This one turned out to be about what I expected. Sometimes high alpha hops aren’t the best approach, but they’re efficient. The bitterness was a bit astringent, though the nose was very nice. A decent beer, but missing the flavor of the hops, particularly the ones that were used. Goodgrief (1148), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2008 July 2007 - Bottle pours a reddish amber, cloudy chunks of "stuff", decent head and lacing. It really did smell like sweet tea. Flavor was sweet malts and knock down, drag out bitter citrus and some pine notes as well. Really one for the hopheads...probably the most bitter DIPA I’ve had yet. Memorable, even if a tad too bitter for my liking. garretjax (103), Colorado, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Good amber colors, average white head. Abundant floral, rosey like hoppy aromas. Some soft grapefruit. Full body and an even carbonation. Nice hop flavor with bright bitterenss. Rounds out wiith sweet alcohol. Nice contrast. Surprisingly long finish by the hops flavors at the back of the tongue for minutes after.
