oakbluff (298), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Dec 15, 2007 Bomber shared with Piscator34. Amber coloured brew. Great nose of hops and more hops. Taste- bouquet of piney/citrus hops. A west coast classic! Nice mouthfeel- not too thin but not cloying. Smoothh stuff for such a killer brew. No booziness apparent, and highlyu drinkable. Braudog (3732), Dayton, Ohio, USA Dec 14, 2007 22 oz’er. Pours pure amber with a sheen and a thin and sturdy foam top. The aroma is as if I dove into a barrel of soaking hops ... wow. Likewise, this beer drinks with a kick-in-the-pants oily hoppiness ... earthy and citric all at the same time. The sting stays with you, too. The body is perfect ... not full, and not too light. Not sure this has enough of a solid foundation to support the superbly stacked-on powerful hop. This is an aptly named beer -- I’d love to try and freeze it -- and definitely for the Hopheads. (#3246, 12/14/2007) papajohn (1054), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA Dec 13, 2007 Bomber from Holiday Wine Cellar: Clear golden amber color with a generous eggshell white head. Aroma is citrus and lots of pine. Flavor starts sweet grapefruit with a little grass followed by sharp pine ending with a tart grapefruit rind bitter finish. Medium bodied and oily with moderate carbonation. csbosox (1076), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Dec 9, 2007 2006 GABF Huge c-hop aroma, possibly a backing of honeyish malt. Taste is huge c-hops and really much else. Thick. This is a typical unbalanced west coast IIPA, the way they should be. bombshelter (349), Washington, Washington DC, USA Dec 8, 2007 Wow. Bottle from WF. aroma is herbal, grassy hops. pours a cloudy amber, pretty decent co2. there is a hint of malt in front but it is quickly overwhelmed by a full assault of hops. citric, a touch of pine, all sorts of green grass, just delicious. fantastic brew, hides the 9.2% very well. scrizzz (1246), kirkland, Washington, USA Dec 8, 2007 lets see....hops, hops, other hops, with faint notes of hops. bitter and offensive biting burrowing mean and i love it biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA Dec 7, 2007 Clear auburn, oily white head. Smoth but dank hop aroma, grapefruit, orange and pine. Intensely bitter upfront but backed up by a huge hop flavor. Though very nice to look at, it has an overly filtered flavor to it, lending a bit of a harsh edge. drfabulous (1211), Columbia, Missouri, USA Dec 6, 2007 Oh man. Just the way I like my IPAs. Super hops. Intense citrus/pine taste. Another fine beer from Moylans.
