Aug 21, 2009 Exceptional. Pours into snifter with understated head and rich opaque burnt-copper murk. Lovely floral hop and ripened citrus aroma, some toasty caramel malt. Flavor is initially floral, then the first wave of bitter, then a nutty mid-palate with pine in the undertones, finishing with a warming alcoholic bitterness. Smooth and medium viscosity. Only the lack of balance and perhaps one layer of complexity separates this one from higher ranked DIPAs.

Aug 18, 2009 Intense. The hops make this beer so bitter and dry that it literally gives you cottonmouth! Very high quality, just not quite balanced enough for me to rave.

Aug 17, 2009 Bottle. Opaque orange pour with a medium tan head. Citrus hop aroma that is very crisp, but also has a nice malt character. Very bitter hop flavor, lots of citrus with a touch of malt and a full and lasting bitter finish. Outstanding.

Aug 16, 2009 0.66 l bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Deep copper color. Strong piney hop aroma with toffeish and nutty maltiness in the background. Pungent bitter, piney, fruity and soapy hop flavor with some sweetness and nutty maltiness. Some alcohol sharpness. Pretty tasty but the hop character is too soapy.

Aug 13, 2009 This stuff is amazing! I am a hop head and really dig this beer! Pours red with off white head. Bitter abounds and is very welcome! Cost issue aside this stuff is really great!

Aug 12, 2009 Pour like dark almost red scandinavian amber with a haze glans with a huge white head. The nose is pretty much like a sweet versie of its kidbrother IPA from Moylans. There is some barly, mangofruits, malts and heavy sugar. The palate is fat, but not as fsat as you see it in some imperial IPAs from the States. Its pretty straight forward and not with a complexiness. Pretty good

Aug 10, 2009 Piney, grapefruit, with some resin on the nose. Pours cloudy golden amber with a thin white head. Piney citrus with hints of caramel malts, very resiney with some alcohol finish.
