beernovice39 (237), South Carolina, USA Aug 13, 2009 This stuff is amazing! I am a hop head and really dig this beer! Pours red with off white head. Bitter abounds and is very welcome! Cost issue aside this stuff is really great! lassem (296), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 12, 2009 Pour like dark almost red scandinavian amber with a haze glans with a huge white head. The nose is pretty much like a sweet versie of its kidbrother IPA from Moylans. There is some barly, mangofruits, malts and heavy sugar. The palate is fat, but not as fsat as you see it in some imperial IPAs from the States. Its pretty straight forward and not with a complexiness. Pretty good redlight (1445), Winter Park, Florida, USA Aug 10, 2009 Piney, grapefruit, with some resin on the nose. Pours cloudy golden amber with a thin white head. Piney citrus with hints of caramel malts, very resiney with some alcohol finish. rcasta (470), El Salvador Aug 8, 2009 gracias pollo en tu casa del lago con ramenen es hoppy y asi como les gustan al aleman y al gordo. semana de agosto 2009 doboy (175), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Aug 4, 2009 Shared with Uncle Steve, Our Beer Pimp Brian, the Nortorius Celticbrew, and the infamous Drbayern.
Pours a light yellow with no head and a light lacing on the edge. There is a light hoppy citrusy aroma. The hop flavor is intense yet well balanced. Very nice hop bittering on the back end. kwoeltje (1313), Manchester, Missouri, USA Aug 3, 2009 (bottle) very slightly hazy amber with off white head and nice lace. Aroma of pine and orange. Flavor is resiny pine and citrus hops with enough malt for at least some balance. Resiny pine hops aftertaste. Great for the hop head. Hoptagon (132), Arlington, Virginia, USA Aug 2, 2009 22oz. Bottle. Rusty orange color with a minimal but nicely lacing head. Complex and hoppy aroma with some grapefruit, orange and strong fresh pine notes. A touch of malty sweetness at the front that is followed by copious quantities of hops. Some grassy flavors that quickly fade into a bitter sledgehammer. Serious alpha acid written all over the flavor profile here. This one alternates between stimulating and decimating your palate. Carbonation level is just right and the beer has the sticky and resinous texture expected for the style. The lingering bitterness on the back end of this is no joke. kcdoom (17), merriam, Kansas, USA Jul 30, 2009 an absolute explosion of powerful and pungent hops that make your mouth feel like a recepticle of hops. a nice and powerful hopppy beer with hints of pine, grapefruit, tangerines and more that lead into a great and long finish. a must for any person who wants to be smashed over the head with hops
