Pours dark amber orange w/some clouding that disipates quickly. Smells of fresh cut grass. The first taste is crisp and clean and then the hops hit you. This beer is awesome. It is everything that it claims to be, it is a truely awesome brew. Cheers!

Bottle. Pour was deep golden with a lasting of-white head. Aroma was very fresh with a lot of citrus and bitterness. Flavors were well blended between the hops and the light malt character. Very easy to drink and quite refreshing. The alcohol hit me pretty quickly but again was pleasant. Very good brew.

Happy and hoppy, this beer is for sippin’. I enjoyed this for a while, but don’t hold it too long and let it get too warm or it will become a little too bitter.

Holy savage taste buds beating for the ages! Jesus. I think it’s just pure liquified hops. First sip totally blew me away.

Poured out a amber brew with a hint of red and a thick but small, creamy off white cap and decent ropy lacing early on with more of a spotty showing later. The nose is just awesome from the get go with a massive citrus punch: orange / peach / grapefruit / nectarine / lemon as well something more exotic... did I name them all? Don’t forget the background of piney hops weak caramel. The taste was a punch in the face with an A-bomb of bitter shrapnel. Piney and not leafy (nothing like Leafer Madness), solid caramel malts and the resounding taste of eating a fresh unsweetened grapefruit. The hint of spice might just be the only thing that I can taste after the other taste buds shriveled up and died form the bitter assault. Despite all the hops this beer still has a roller coster of flavors on each sip and that’s what makes this such a fine beer. Man, sooooo good. Full bodied and smooth, leaves a decent coating in the mouth, finishes with permanent bitterness softened by the caramel. Excellent beer that I picked up on a whim during a spending frenzy that saw the beer bill exceed 200$US as Khoury’s (highly recommended for it’s smaller yet well chosen selection and knowledgeable staff) in Henderson, Nevada. Even with all these high marks I’ve given, the DFH 90min and Deschutes Hop Trip are still in a class of their own.

Bottle thanks to drfabulous. Pours a nice amber orange with thick off-white head, minimal lacing. Aroma wonderful of citrus hops, slight floral, light malt, pine, and grass. Flavor matches well and comes together nicely, but finishes a bit more dry and metallic than I would have liked. Very nice overall and definitely drinkable and enjoyable.

Bottle poured into my Sam Adams glass produced a two finger white head that lasted a while then turned to a thin lace. The body of the brew was a clear golden straw colored yellow. The aromas of hops are dominant with a light sweetness to it as well. This brew is more floral more than citrus so it is interesting. The flavor is bitter, the hops bitter comes at you first then the finish is like a oily pine resin. Yes this is a west coast hop bomb that will destroy your taste buds for the night. There was a medium feel in my mouth with light carbonation for your tongue. The bomber did it for me I finished it but to do another would be a stretch. If I wanted to drink a hop bomb and this was around I would grab it again

Pours a pure gold color with lots of head that disappears quickly, but leaves a bit there to tease ya. Medium bodied. On the nose I am getting strong hop and citrus aroma and yea more hops there as well. On the palate I get hops, citrus and bitter flavors. Not detecting much malt there. Stays around on your palate for awhile as well. Give this one a try.

Bottle with a big thanks to Wavers1. Pours a very viscous dirty orange with a finger head. Good strong caramel malt flavor with a slightly soapy hops note. Taste is comparable to chewing on a jack pine or spruce branch. Lots of pine presence. Something of a creamy smooth palate, and towards the end is just about overwhelming, but yet I continue to forge on.
