Ungstrup (14723), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 2, 2006 An unclear dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very hoppy and grassy combined with light notes of caramel. The flavor is strong with notes of caramel and grass. Nice. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 16, 2006 Updated: Jan 9, 2008(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Pours a hazy, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Extremely floral hop aroma. Loads of caramel, loads of fruit and a marked aromatic hop bitterness. 150306 omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 14, 2006 Updated: Sep 28, 2009Bottled. Hazy amber. Massive grapefruit aroma. Sweet and thick, really full bodied. Sufficient malt to carry the massive hoppiness. Easy going for it’s size, yet very aromatic and flavourful. A juicy hop monster with some level of balance, but also rather one dimensional. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 28, 2008 LCRBM08: 22 fl oz bottle, courtesy of bierkoning. Pours almost clear orange with a slowly collapsing off-white head. Dense hoppy wooden and pine aroma. Dense hoppy pinewood and light marmelade note from the hops. Subdued caramel malty base. Ends dry and spiced hoppy. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Mar 15, 2009 Bottle 66cl. @ LCRBM 2008, ’s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, orange, grapefruit shell. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081025] MiP (8792), Sønderborg, Denmark Oct 31, 2008 Bottle, 9.2% at LCRBM08. Distinct caramelly aroma, from the hops. The flavour has the same caramelly hoppiness as the aroma along with some sweet flavour. Very nice cleansing bitterness. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 16, 2006 Bottle.

with age the hops drop out enough to allow the the sweetness to balance, but is it better?
