Jul 26, 2006 22 oz. bottle - Pours an amber color with a thin film of a head. Light carbonation. Has a pungent, floral aroma. The flavor is sweet with some citrus hop flavoring to go along. Has a slight lingering bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Alcohol is noticable. Decent beer.

Nov 2, 2006 Bottle thanks to footbalm: Amber color with a medium off white head, some lacing. Aroma, citrus, pine and caramel, big big hops. Could smell them a foot away from the glass. Flavor, more citrus and pine, oozing hops, but a nice malty backbone, great bitterness on the finish, but not overwhelming, there’s some sweetness in there as well. It was a pleasure to drown in this bomber.

Oct 7, 2007 Honey amber color with a medium light offwhite head. Smell is huge pine and soapy hops. Very aromatic and nice. Taste is wow, bitter.... Very piney, hoppy, and unbalanced to say the least. Not enough sweetness to make this pleasant or enjoyable at all. Too much hops for the malt used, and although the alcohol is very nicely hidden, this isn’t very drinkable or pleasant. Chalky dry, intense bitterness. ugh...

Mar 22, 2007 Thanks to whoever brought this to share with us at the Tennessee Spring(ish) Tasting! A clean amber/gold pour with almost no lacing. A damn hard grapefruity hops aroma. A huge hoppy flavor about as big and bitter as you could hope a beer to be. A nice mouthfeel with very good carbonation. Overall a very good nothing much bad to say about this beer.

Mar 24, 2009 Very clear amber with a off white head. Awesome pine sap and sweet floral hop aromas. Medium body with soft carbonation. Big hop show here, with floral and pine with a sweet malty base to balance. Fucking great ipa
