Thanks sebletitje for the share. Pours clear gold with a white head. Nose is malt, lemon, tart citrus, and caramel. Flavor is caramel, malt, pine, citrus, and floral hops. Medium-bodied and enjoyable. Lots of hops and well-hidden alcohol.

I’m so happy i found a bottle of this, finally. Pours a dense copper and orange with a decent layer of film on top. Carbonation bubbles rise extremely slowly and are fairly big. Aroma is a strong dosage of freshly picked hops, pine and reminds me of a musty sweat. The drink is intensly bitter but delicious every last sip. Strong flavors of grapefruit, hop, and a sweetness similar to wild honey. Amazing double IPA, i couldn’t of imagined it being this good.

Hazy copper pour with off-white head. The nose is grapefruit and grapefruit peel with some malt and some earthy yeast in the background. The flavor starts bitter and ends bitter, though some sweet malts in the background show up as the beer warms. Too, a slight note of orange is detectable. The finish is moderate and bitter.

Beautiful cloudy amber with big creamy head. Nice blend of hop aromas is very inviting...and yeah, this is one hoppy beer. Big bitter hop taste is obviously the focal point. You get what you expect with this beer....lots of hops! It ain’t balanced, it ain’t complex, bit it sure is hoppy.

Pours a cloudy ruddy orange amber. Thick densely packaged beige-ish head. Caramel/toffee, citrus, grapefruit, pine resin nose. Sweet, chewy malts up front, toasted, roasty, medium to full body, dry, earthen, citric, floral, perfumey, pine hops linger along a drawn out finish. This is not far from some hoppy sex in the mouth. Khaki hop shorts, struttin down the sidewalk. Toss me some salad, you braggot. Thanks to Turd Ferguson for making me bring him to Julio’s for this luscious puppy.

This was a great IPA. The pour was a nice light golden/orange color with a medium head. The aroma was a very nice grapefruit smell that got your taste buds in the mood for some IPA lovin’. Taste was very hoppy, tons of citrus and a definite bitter aftertaste left in your mouth. Malt was just enough to keep a good solid balance in place. Very refreshing and incredibly easy to drink.

Thanks to Dickinsonbeer for sharing this.

Tasted side-by-side with Dreadnaught. Poured a honey amber with a creamy white head. Aroma of sharp piney hops. Taste is lots of piney hops with a touch of sweetness and a dry bitter finish. The flavor didn’t seem as well developed or as sharp as Dreadnaught, but this an excellent IIPA.

July 2007 - Bottle pours a reddish amber, cloudy chunks of "stuff", decent head and lacing. It really did smell like sweet tea. Flavor was sweet malts and knock down, drag out bitter citrus and some pine notes as well. Really one for the hopheads...probably the most bitter DIPA I’ve had yet. Memorable, even if a tad too bitter for my liking.
