Flot ravfarvet klar farve med fint skumhved. Duft af humle. Smag af humle, meget bitter og brænder i ganen af humle. Fin fin øl. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 1, 2007 Updated: Oct 2, 2007I can believe that I have not rated this as I have had 3-4 bottles. Anyway, Cloudy orange/apricot color with huge fluffy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, apricot, and pine. Resiny aroma. This beer taste just the aroma. Thick on the palate with apricot/mango hoppy finish. I remember footbalm sent me my first bottle, it was the old silkscreen bottle. Man, was it goooood. The other bottle were good but nothing like the 1st bottle. pnista (1008), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Straw orange gold with a thin film of white head. Hoppy alcoholic, slightly sweet nose. Orangy, a bit creamy. Clean, not too much complexity. A bit creamy, low carbonation, not too thick, but not watery. Big citrusy hops. Sweet light malt, not malty. alcohol and hop bitterness. Lingering orangy hop bitterness. Some alcohol pops out in the finish. jefcon (1003), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Glows orange in the glass with a fine off-white head that gives some lacing to the glass. Hop aromas are straightforward and clean. The hop flavors are rich and bright, with a lemony bite. The alcohol heightens the sharpness of the hops, but contributes a grainy dryness on the back end. Great bittering dry finish. Theonly drawback here is the sheer volume of alcohol, which, even though you can’t taste it, is very high. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 30, 2006 Pours a very cloudy orange with a lofty miruengue head. Aroma is of heady malts, maybe melanoidin, and piney, grassy hops. Body is med. with low CO2 and no harsh hop astringency. The flavors are severely muted by age. There is a nice malt and juicy hop mix but nothing that really slams you in the nose, and therefore the tongue, with hops. Bitterness is there and is nicely drying but I tried this at GABF and it was right up there with Pliney and the PP IIPAs. I will have to seak out another bottle of this closer to the bay area. malrubius (1002), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 19, 2008 22 ounce split in pint glass. Hazy orange-copper with lasting head and lace. Strong citrus orange bready aroma. Honey orange zesty fruitiness with bracing bitterness and lingering piney citrusy hop flavor. Medium full creamy body and medium carbo. Absolutely complex, assertive, and delicious. And I think I am warming to the DIPA style Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Intense pine aroma and not much else. This is overwhelmingly bitter. long lasting bitter aftertaste. Flavor is obvious pine and a little grapefruit. A little malt to balance. Definitely not as balanced or good as the olfabrikken 100 gram i had last night. Still and above average IIPA. Capa (988), Yokosuka, Japan
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Pours hazy orange with a mid-sized, fluffy head. Aroma is strong citrus hops, pine, grapefruit, apricot, caramel. Thick and creamy body. Bitter!! Hops of citrus, pine and grapefruit. The alcohol is well hidden under the huge mound of hop bitterness. Resiny, bitter finish is long...real long. Bitterness stays when the delicious beer is gone. I almost think it’s too hoppy...HA! This is awesome.
