| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Poured from a 22oz bomber and served in a tulip. This beer poured a crystal clear amber with a thick, rocky head of beige foam that displayed decent retention. Sticky lacing coated the entire inside of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of big, fruity hops, caramel, bread, and grass. The flavor included notes of grapefruit rind, pineapple, peach, caramel, and a good dose of warming alcohol. The mouthfeel was definately full-bodied. Lush, chewy, and resiny! Potent hops provided plenty of bitterness to make this a really tasty DIPA. smith4498 (916), Miami, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Pours hazy orange with off white head. I can smell the citrusy grapefruit hops from a foot away. Citrus flavors, mostly lemon and grapefruit, with some sweetness form the malts. This is much less sweet and syrupy than most of the DIPAs I have had. Alcohol flavor comes through only slightly. Medium body with mild carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel with a clean finish. Very nice. Juelze (910), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Thanks again to my brother for picking this up! Pours a clear rich amber color with thin off white head. Aroma is of intense resinous pine, citrus rind and light biscuity malt. Full bodied, oily and sticky, this is a pretty great iPA but again, nothing like Hopslam. CanIHave4Beers (908), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Pours a bright orange color with a medium slightly loose head that leaves a little lace. The aroma is piney and resiny with a big hop aroma and a little fruitiness. The flavor is fruity with some citrus, mainly grapefruit. The beer is particularly bitter and has a little bit of spiciness, hardly any malt flavor gets through on this one; I think that’s the point. This is pretty tasty. danielcurtis81 (908), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Getting my notebook online. Bottle. Pours a light orange. Lots of hops on the nose. Flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, and hops. The name left me wanting for more hops but still a good beer. can8ianben (907), Pasadena, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Aroma is like a dried citrus scent with some pine as well. Appearance is a slightly cloudy amber/orange with a thick frothy white head that diminishes quickly. Flavor is lovely - not overtly sweet, but a good hoppy spice to balance out a smooth malt. Mouthfeel is creamy and very dry and bitter on the finish. A very nice IIPA. Lovely stuff here. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
