This beer is, simply stated, everything a liquid homage to the hop should be, from its bright, subtle, and slightly hazy orange appearance to its endless resinous, floral, piney, and citric palate that goes on, and on, and on....

22oz. Bottle. I didn’t think I would find a beer that would deserve a 5 but this has to be it so far. Aroma was like cutting a fresh grapefruit. Body was a murky copper color with decent head and left spider web sugar lacing. Flavor was a good dose of citrus hop grapefruit, juciy, and sweet sugar. Alcohol content was well hidden, unlike some high octane beers that makes it feel like your forehead will hit the table. Great citrus aftertaste cool and crisp on the palate, great beer.

What a great double IPA. I’m a huge fan of this style and this very well may be the best one I have had so far. It’s hoppy as hell but also well balanced. Great aroma too. This one will be hard to beat.

this is the best double ipa i have ever tasted. everything about this screams hops. essentially liquid hops with a hint of alcohol. it has ruined my palate, and i have yet to find a ipa to come close.

Style and Glass: DIPA, Tulip ABV, Volume & Calories: 9.2% in 22 fl oz. estimated at 400 C Purchased at: The Six Pack Store, Roosevelt Blvd., Phila, PA for $12.00 (Thanks, Joe! First visit, but not the last!) Aroma: A hop head’s delight. It’s deliriously, deliciously hoppy. A flowery, almost burning hop aroma. I love it. Visuals: The packaging from Moylan’s is usually very advertising heavy, but well designed and attractive, if a little over the top. The orange pour leaves a hazy orange sunlight body, with an off-white creamy head with a lot of lace that’s sticky and fresh. This seems like the ultimate in DIPA beauty. Very well done visually. Taste: Not very balanced. This is really all about hops, and while there is a slightly malty finish, it is very crisp, bitter, and ultra hoppy. I love it, but I imagine a differently organized palate might find it off-putting. Love hops? Find this brew! Palate: The finish is long lasting, delicious, and dark. It’s creamy at the start, crisp in the middle, and sticky in the end. It’s a great tactile experience. Overall: I absolutely love this brew. I’ll be looking for other Moylan’s brews, but this I’m specifically going to find this again. For hop heads, this seems like a destination beerage.

Pours dark amber orange w/some clouding that disipates quickly. Smells of fresh cut grass. The first taste is crisp and clean and then the hops hit you. This beer is awesome. It is everything that it claims to be, it is a truely awesome brew. Cheers!

What a wonderful triple IPA! Perhaps the most floral and complex big beers I have yet to taste. Gushing with Centennials and Cascades and dripping with a spectrum of refreshing potency. Deep orange and sticky resinous notes linger for days. Perhaps the greatest IPA of all!
