Caskalefan (26), Bellingham, Washington, USA Mar 23, 2008 This beer is, simply stated, everything a liquid homage to the hop should be, from its bright, subtle, and slightly hazy orange appearance to its endless resinous, floral, piney, and citric palate that goes on, and on, and on.... Bockyhorsey (2033), Mesa, Arizona, USA Sep 29, 2006 22oz. Bottle. I didn’t think I would find a beer that would deserve a 5 but this has to be it so far. Aroma was like cutting a fresh grapefruit. Body was a murky copper color with decent head and left spider web sugar lacing. Flavor was a good dose of citrus hop grapefruit, juciy, and sweet sugar. Alcohol content was well hidden, unlike some high octane beers that makes it feel like your forehead will hit the table. Great citrus aftertaste cool and crisp on the palate, great beer. mfaulke (73), clemson, South Carolina, USA Mar 31, 2007 What a great double IPA. I’m a huge fan of this style and this very well may be the best one I have had so far. It’s hoppy as hell but also well balanced. Great aroma too. This one will be hard to beat. hsejkora (1), gilbert, Arizona, USA does not count Feb 15, 2008 this is the best double ipa i have ever tasted. everything about this screams hops. essentially liquid hops with a hint of alcohol. it has ruined my palate, and i have yet to find a ipa to come close. Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Mar 28, 2007 Updated: Aug 30, 2008What a wonderful triple IPA! Perhaps the most floral and complex big beers I have yet to taste. Gushing with Centennials and Cascades and dripping with a spectrum of refreshing potency. Deep orange and sticky resinous notes linger for days. Perhaps the greatest IPA of all!
