| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 29, 2007 Pours a rich translucent amber. Aroma of malts with tons of floral/piney hops. Flavor has the characteristic grapefruit-like bitter edge. The only beer I can compare it to is the Stone Ruination Ale, but this is even hoppier. Mouth feel is also really nice. If you like hops, you’ll definitely like this beer. Skyview (4076), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 31, 2007 Sampled from 22-oz bomber that was originally picked up at Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. Pours a semi-clear coppery amber brew with a thick off-white head that has some good retention. Aroma of orange and grapefruit zest, some caramel malt, pine, and a touch of heavy alcohol. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation, with flavors of light caramel malt and over the top grapefruit juice, orange zest, and bitterness to curl your tongue. Finish is sweet at first and then a long lingering piney bitterness. A real West Coast Imperial IPA. badlizard (2373), Berkeley, California, USA

The smell was of citrus and strong hops. As you drink it there was a nice coffee roasted malt flavor with a really good after taste the stuck arround for a while. This beerwas extramly refreshing it is one of the best double IPA’s. They also do a good job hideing the booze. Pwn3d (1088), Manhattan, New York, USA
