Oct 28, 2007 Updated: Nov 1, 2007Strong pleasant aroma of lush, fresh grass. Brownish-apricot color and clear. Wow this one is FULL of hops that hit you right away, sting as they go down, and don’t go away! Just a blast; a thrill ride; you’re at Great America and you just rode The Edge. Very sweet too.

Good Lord. I didn’t expect this. The Hopsickle blows it away.
[tasted next to a Green Flash Imperial IPA]
The Hopsickle is more malty, sweet, and syrupy; the Green Flash is way more focused on delicious grass. Both are fantastic, but I prefer the Green Flash.

Mar 14, 2009 Was surprised that this one was as hoppy as it was. Every time I have seen triple hoppy, this is what Ive been expecting. This one does not disappoint. The lemony and grapefruit zest is fantastic. You better love bitter hops, and I can see how this would be too much for most, but it is truly fantastic. A palate wrecker for sure!

Feb 25, 2007 This is like Ruination on steroids!!! Strong bitterness, a tottal tounge bruiser. Will not taste anything right for aweek. Great!

May 19, 2009 22 oz. bottle from Grape & Gourmet. Dark orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, hops, and more hops. Holy crap, this is hoppy! Taste is pure bitter grapefruit and pine. This is the hoppiest beer (that was any good) I have ever tried. Not even close to being balanced. It’s great if you can handle it.

Feb 9, 2009 Awesome. One of the best DIPA’s out there. Piney, refreshing, tart, and hopped out of this world. A really really really good DIPA will buy this again, hopslam watch out!

Jul 30, 2009 an absolute explosion of powerful and pungent hops that make your mouth feel like a recepticle of hops. a nice and powerful hopppy beer with hints of pine, grapefruit, tangerines and more that lead into a great and long finish. a must for any person who wants to be smashed over the head with hops

Nov 8, 2009 Pours a clear copper with a large chunky, frothy, off-white head that leaves tons of thick lacing. HUGE aroma of pine needles, mango, grapefruit, orange, and some buired caramel malt. The flavor is caramel malt and fruit at first, but quickly turns to extremely bitter and hoppy. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a oily, slightly hot, very bitter finish.
