Great three dimentional lacing. The aroma was surprisingly malty, with a strong coffee and caramel presence that is equal in stregnth to the zesty hop oils. The Flavour is the same as the aroma (but with a bit of resin), yet the incredibly full, yet tingly palate makes the flavour a bit better. The finish and flavour is very malty, which is a nice change for imperial IPA’s. I can only have so many one dimentional hop bombs that all have the same finish as every other imperial IPA. Leave it to moylands to create an amazingly fresh-tasting hoppy beer. This is as good as there double. malrubius (1000), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Strong citrus orange bready aroma. Honey orange zesty fruitiness with bracing bitterness and lingering piney citrusy hop flavor. Medium full creamy body and medium carbo. Absolutely complex, assertive, and delicious. And I think I am warming to the DIPA style pbrick (13), Roseville, California, USA

Aroma is like fresh hops, taste is initially sweet (caramel) with a quick follow-up of floral and citrus hops with significant bittering. Not a harsh beer, quite drinkable for what it is. I love hops, this is my kind of beer. craftbeerdesign (754), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

This one is full of glorious hops... This has to be the hoppiest beer I’ve had to date. With it’s under 100 IBU rating, it drinks and tastes more like a 200 IBU beer... If you’re a hophead you will love this beer - if not, you will hate it. This beer is loaded and loaded with hops. Pours a deep orange/amber with a nice size white head... huge hoppy, piney aromas... the hoppy bitterness hits your palate immediately and flows over the entire palate with abundance... huge long lasting finish which leaves the hops on your palate for a good while after your done... piney, hoppy and just damn good.... a new favorite for sure... | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Possibly the hoppiest and most abrasively bitter beer I’ve ever had - and I mean that in the best way possible.
To hell with malt flavors and balance, this is nirvana for hop heads. Lemons, grapefruits, and grass for flavor along with a strong metallic bitterness on the back of my tongue. Definitely one of my favorite IPA’s. Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA

Juicy, vibrant, bold and charismatic hops were full of citrus, resinous pine, spruce and sharp grass. Bold bitterness was held in check by a rather solid and tasty malt backbone, which was rich with cocoa, caramel and chocolate malt balls. Plant-like twang lingered on the tongue. Fantastic beer, especially for a hophead like me. jezmez68 (334), Chesterton, Indiana, USA

Had this side-by-side with a bottle of Three Floyd’s Dreadnaught. Decent-sized head, nice lacing. This one was a bit more floral and piney smelling. The hop aftertaste was more brilliant than the Three Floyd’s and really stood out. Totally recommend. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA

Like a tamer version of Bear Republic’s legendary one-off eisbier I described as "sweetened hop juice". I’ve finished a bottle and I actually am hurting from all the sugar. Just a bit too sweet for me but the powerful toasty, citrus, resinous experience is still one to be cherished. Moylan’s best beer ever.
