Nov 5, 2009 bomber from total wine and more in atlanta. hazy gold pour with a good sized bubbly white head. citrus hops and caramel in the aroma. taste is resiny pine, grapefruit and floral mixed with caramel malt. good medium texture. long bitter finish with some spice to it. like this one.

Nov 4, 2009 22 oz bomber from doubleo, thanks man. Poured a nice deep orange with an average bubbly bright white head. Initial aroma was pine and fresh juicey hops and that gives way to some honey topped bread and citrus notes. Mouthfeel is just slightly thinner then expected with average carbonation and a long lasting bitter aftertaste. Flavor is lots of citrus with strong grapefruit, floral hops and pine resin. Probably the best Moylans I have ever had.

Nov 1, 2009 Bottle from Sam’s. Pours Dark clear golden with foamy white head, but gets closer to a hazy amber at the bottom of the bottle. Nose of citrus, rind, tropical fruits, resin, and a bit of malt presence which comes out more on the taste. Wanted the taste to be a bit more spicy and crisp, but the malt got in the way a bit. Still a very solid IPA. Slick but thin palate.

Nov 1, 2009 Bottle, 22 fl. oz. Pours an unclear golden beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, lots of hops (grass) and notes of caramel. The flavor is hops with grapefruit and grass. The palate is bitter. Overall a good bitterness and a little special.

Oct 28, 2009 Very solid. Had some on tap at Rattle n Hum in NYC. Nice balance between the hops and malts. The hops are certainly present but not overpowering. Pretty smooth finish, although bitter. Nice beer.

Oct 26, 2009 Bomber. Nose is resinous and spicy. Flavor is more of the same, with more malt than the nose, a touch of peaches, and what I’ve come to know as the ’classic’ dark wood Moylans finish that bombs the upper palate with bittereness. Not like the all-out assualt of hopsickle, but quite woody. 1/4 of the bottle was sacrificed as a deglaze for an enchilada sauce and in that capacity, it was very, very apropos. Good - nothing overly special.
