Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 16 Aug 2008) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, floral, fresh nose with orange peel, mandarin and apricots. Fruity, floral taste with notes of mandarin, orange, resin, grapefruit and a slightly grassy, floral finish. A fresh citrussy bitterness comes creeping after a while, balanced by a hint of grain. Medium body, fairly dry. Lovely hop character with stunning balance. Lovely beer!

Bottle.Medium sized white head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, hazy, visible carbonation, and a straw yellow and orange hue. The aroma consisted of malt, floral and citrus hops, some pine, grapefruit, and some spicyness. The flavor was malt, hoppy, pine, grapefruit, caramel, lightly bitter, and a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel was tingly and this is a medium bodied IPA. A good IPA with a lingering hoppy aftertaste, worthy of a try, but not an IPA that I will revisit as it was just a little too hoppy tasting for my liking as I am not a "hophead".

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a huge and towering orange-white head that is still there 1/2 an hour later. The aroma was a lovely mix of resin, pine and grapefruit - moderately sweet. The flavor was sweet and tangy with robust notes of pine, resin and grapefruit and a solid nut and caramel malt base. The finish is long, piney and fruity. Just a touch harsh and bitter towards the finish as it warms. Lovely.

Somewhat murky golden/orange pour with a nice and frothy white head. Aroms is very floral with faint underlying citrus. Mouthfeel is creamy and this brew is full bodied. Hops dominate and have a resiny floral/piney character. Finish is spicy with lingering hopiness. Pretty good brew!

Honey colored pour with fluffy head. Nose of hops, grapefruit rind, floral hops and citrus. Flavor has a good mix of malt to hops....with some nice spices and biting finish. Very solid IPA.

22 oz bomber courtesy my Secret Santa. Pours our a light copper, straw color with a thick white head. Grapefruit, pine hop aroma very fragrant. Chewy citrus hops taste with a nice balance of malt to smooth things out. Solid IPA.

From a 22 oz bottle, the pour looks like honey with a white lacing on top, which lasted until the brew was gone. The flavor is intense citrus hops, but with detectable maltiness. It’s a good balance. Aroma is a nice piney citrus. This is a very good beer.
