Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

22oz. bottle, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Bright gold, cloudy, with white head. Nose of pungent hops, really piney and spicey, with some pineapple in the background. Flavor is thick, sticky hops, slightly sweet, over a crisp light malt, with a healthy hops bitterness throughout. Creamy and full on the palate, finishing with more hops. Really nice, reminds me a lot of the Smuttynose IPA.

cloudy golden with a thin layer of white foam, the sweet floral aroma is invitingly simple and the flavor is straight-forward too. finishes rather bitter, this is a very enjoyable ipa.

highly enjoyable. Starts citric and then the piney thick resiny hops burst through and stay with you for a while. Loved it.

Warning! Warning! You might want to use a snifter or other glassware normally used for Belgian ales on this one. They aren’t kidding on the label when they say it is a live ale. This thing pours a fogged orange brownish with such a big head. I could use it as a pencil holder. And the thing never dropped!! Kind of a pain in the ass, but really nice to look at! Nose is perfumed hops. Even and smooth. Flavor is much more robust than most IPAs that are being thrown out. Definite deeper edge to it. Strong perfume notes that have a thick floral tone to it. Slick liquid tone with a nice level of carbonation to it. This is a very unique and different kind of IPA. Not the standard fare being shown by so many other breweries. Is it worth trying? Absolutely. Share it with someone you appreciate. And did I say it pours a massive head??

Nothing that realy sets this apart from the pack but a very solid IPA. Nice floral hops aroma.

Just your basic IPA. Nothing spectacular but nowhere to fault it either. Probably what the brewery was aiming for, given the other pales they produce. I would think this would be a sixpack beer, but on sale at only 3 bucks the bomber is pretty attractive.

Pours a somewhat dark clearish yellow with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly. Head leaves just a bit of lacing. Smells grassy. Taste bitter grassy. Big and bitter up front with just a touch of sweetness on the finish. Somewhat thick feeling but actually a bit thin and watery. Decent carbonation. Not a bad bitter IPA, but not my favorite. Their DiPA’s on the other hand, are awesome.

Pours copper-gold with a half-finger white head. Citrusy aroma with bready sweetness. Some grassiness. The hoppiness is more floral in the flavor. Good IPA if you like a touch of the English. Nothing really outstanding.
