Lacing of the glass is thick and long lasting. Nose of floral hops with blanket of soapiness. Initial taste of sweet malts and grapefruit hops. Finishing with sharpenly bitter hop that pushes to the edge of the enjoyable, but Im hop head so I love it. The malt backbone did make it from start to finish. Palate duration was excellent. Medium-Full Body. Resiny flavor comes up with burbing lol. Taverner (847), San Ramon, California, USA

Head quickly disappeared showing a hazy amber. Very piney taste that sticks with you. Lots of hop resin in this one. Very nice - tastes almost like a DIPA.
SECOND ANALYSIS: Pure grapefruit in the aroma. Has said resins, but is also immensely floral.
THIRD ANALYSIS: This stuff fresh is the bees knees! Pure floral goodness! Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 6, 2007 Bomber pours a very nice crystal clear deep gold with lasting off white head. The aroma is sugar sweet malts and grapefruit hop bitterness and not much else. It could be more pungent. The taste has malty roasted sweetness with full grapefruit hop bitterness. Just a bitter hop bomb with mild malt sweetness. Nice flavor for the style. There is a lingering grapefruit and floral hoppiness that stays around for a while. chadje (130), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2007 22oz bottle. Pours a nice golden pale color with a good head. Smells hoppy but not as sweet as other IPA’s. Tastes pretty good , but the after taste was a little too bitter and not and not as smooth as my favorite IPA’s. Still a pretty good beer, but an average IPA. JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Pours a nice golden copper color with a fluffy off-white head. It smelled nice and floral with citrus and pine. It was on the thicker side, closer to full bodied, with a nice bright hop explosion. I was surprised how thick this was and how little complexity it had, with respect to the malt backbone. I didnt like the choice of Fuggles hops, but it worked out ok. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Surprised I haven’t rated this yet. 22 ounce bottle purchased at BevMo in Natomas, CA. Floral, herbal, lightly peppery hop aroma. A little grassy, too. I don’t know...the aroma seems relatively ordinary. Transparent orange-copper body with a pretty frothy whitish head that leaves fair lacing. Husky, resiny, hoppy start with lots of tannins. Wow, just dry, and very bitter. Aspirin-like bitter hops...almost medicinal. Wow, really one-dimensional and quite poor. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Golden-amber with a medium head. Aroma dominated by a nice grassy/floral/earthy hop mix with lots of bready/caramel malt. Flavor is heavy with caramel malt, but crisp and bitter with some grass and earth. Pleasant mouthfeel , but a bit shy of "really good". CelticBrew (695), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Pours medium gold/amber. Aroma strong of typical IPA style, grass, grapefruit, hops, caramels. Flavour is of a full bodied IPA, extremely pleasant beer. Yummy. Love the fact of the Irish/Scottish Moyland style ale. Extremely smooth, tasteful IPA beer.
