Hoppy (piney) aroma, medium body, hop flavor and bitterness barely dominate the malt. Slight caramel character and sweetness. Very drinkable.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 9, 2009 Poured hazy, light amber from the bottle. Grassy hops hit the nose first. Unexpected sweetness on the tip of the tongue after first sip, immediately gave way to grapefruity hops. Dry finish. A good tasting experience. jerc (3936), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Crisp golden amber with a nice off white head and lace. 3+ Nice hoppy aroma, pleasantly leafy, modest resin. 7+ Flavour is similar, more resin than leafy hops here, good amount of bitterness throughout threatens astringency but stays enjoyable. 7+ Smooth average plus palate. Rather good. Bottle at Volo, Toronto fredandboboflo (1418), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Aroma of grass, citrus, toast, hay. Flavor solidly hoppy with a mild malt background. A nice, unremarkable IPA that I would be happy to drink regularly but surely will not with a plethora of better ones out there. TipsyMcStager (928), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Suprisingly understated brew. Aroma is malty and light on the hops. Pours a cloudy golden-orange, nice foamy head with lacing. Soft in the middle. Finish is dry and hoppy, and somewhat chalky. Light body. So-so. LilBeerDoctor (1505), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of crackery malt and citrus hops. Flavor of caramel malt, sweet fruits, light citrus. The hop presence is not too dominant, but this is still quite an enjoyable beer. Very drinkable.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 25, 2009 On tap at Deep Ellum, Allston (Boston) MA, October 2009. Thought this might be heavily overshadowed by the Green Flash Imperial IPA that I had immediately before but that was not the case. Classic West Coast IPA character. Big hops with a lot of grapefruit and orange peel. Good bitterness makes this an eminently drinkable IPA. So drinkable I had another couple of pints.
