Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Bottle from Sam’s. Pours Dark clear golden with foamy white head, but gets closer to a hazy amber at the bottom of the bottle. Nose of citrus, rind, tropical fruits, resin, and a bit of malt presence which comes out more on the taste. Wanted the taste to be a bit more spicy and crisp, but the malt got in the way a bit. Still a very solid IPA. Slick but thin palate.

Pours a slight hazy yellow to orange color with bright white head. Nose is fresh with soapy citrus and a touch of vanilla birthday cake icing. Palate is very tart, citrusy pine, and leaves the palate with a lot of tartness and "tang". Finish is long and tangy/tart. Not one of the better beers from Moylan.

Appearance: mid light yet clean amber brew , mid plus creamy top, some lace.3+
Nose: nutty , hoppy top , citric clean hop character , hint of alcohol.
Flavor/Palate : mid full bodied . oily textures with clean malt base. Bitter , bit sharp profile. Still quiet drinkable. 13-/20

Bottle at Volo. Pours a amber/copper with good-sized white head, decent retention. Good resiny, hoppy aroma with modest maltiness. Taste is similarly of resiny hops with some fruit. Nice bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Poured hazy, light amber from the bottle. Grassy hops hit the nose first. Unexpected sweetness on the tip of the tongue after first sip, immediately gave way to grapefruity hops. Dry finish. A good tasting experience.

2009-12-04. Crisp golden amber with a nice off white head and lace. 3+ Nice hoppy aroma, pleasantly leafy, modest resin. 7+ Flavour is similar, more resin than leafy hops here, good amount of bitterness throughout threatens astringency but stays enjoyable. 7+ Smooth average plus palate. Rather good. Bottle at Volo, Toronto

Aroma of grass, citrus, toast, hay. Flavor solidly hoppy with a mild malt background. A nice, unremarkable IPA that I would be happy to drink regularly but surely will not with a plethora of better ones out there.

Suprisingly understated brew. Aroma is malty and light on the hops. Pours a cloudy golden-orange, nice foamy head with lacing. Soft in the middle. Finish is dry and hoppy, and somewhat chalky. Light body. So-so.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of crackery malt and citrus hops. Flavor of caramel malt, sweet fruits, light citrus. The hop presence is not too dominant, but this is still quite an enjoyable beer. Very drinkable. 7/4/7/4/15 [3.7/5]
