Super piney and citrus aroma. a little B.O. smell too. Pours super clear copper color. Flavor is pretty much the same. Lots of west coast hops. Kind of disappointed in a lack of malt. very thin body. Still a good IPA and better than the rating. Same flavors as Breckenridge IIPA and Troegs Nugget nectar. I wanna say there are a lot of simcoe hops.

Dec 20, 2009 Thanks Hayduke! This beer pours a hazy orange gold color with a two finger off white head that hangs around for a long time. Nose is tart citrus fruit and sweeter passion fruit. Start is a big grapefruit bite but that soon settles into a nicely balanced IPA. I left it for a while and came back to find those big biting hops again. This is a great representation of an IPA and a fine beer.

Dec 19, 2009 [2625-20091204] Bottle. Fresh light pineapple hops aroma with very light notes of grapefruit. Clear, light orange brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Dry-esque woody citrus hops flavour. Medium body is bitter. Bitter and interesting.

Dec 15, 2009 Definitely not my favorite Moylan’s beer to date and seemed to be outdone by it’s little brother Tipperary. The aroma seemed rather light on the hops, but what I could get was some grapefruit and a showing of old caramel malts. Flavor was mildly sweet, veggie-like bitterness with a puckering like bitterness. No doubt an older bottle I think, so I will re-rate once a fresher bottle can be found. Should be easy enough.

Dec 11, 2009 Pours a slight hazy yellow to orange color with bright white head.
Nose is fresh with soapy citrus and a touch of vanilla birthday cake icing.
Palate is very tart, citrusy pine, and leaves the palate with a lot of tartness and "tang". Finish is long and tangy/tart.
Not one of the better beers from Moylan.

Appearance: mid light yet clean amber brew , mid plus creamy top, some lace.3+
Nose: nutty , hoppy top , citric clean hop character , hint of alcohol.
Flavor/Palate : mid full bodied . oily textures with clean malt base. Bitter , bit sharp profile. Still quiet drinkable. 13-/20

Dec 9, 2009 Bottle at Volo. Pours a amber/copper with good-sized white head, decent retention. Good resiny, hoppy aroma with modest maltiness. Taste is similarly of resiny hops with some fruit. Nice bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Dec 9, 2009 Poured hazy, light amber from the bottle. Grassy hops hit the nose first. Unexpected sweetness on the tip of the tongue after first sip, immediately gave way to grapefruity hops. Dry finish. A good tasting experience.

Crisp golden amber with a nice off white head and lace. 3+ Nice hoppy aroma, pleasantly leafy, modest resin. 7+ Flavour is similar, more resin than leafy hops here, good amount of bitterness throughout threatens astringency but stays enjoyable. 7+ Smooth average plus palate.
