Really liked this one. Pours a brown color. Very strong carmel taste. I’ve never tasted anything like it.

Nothing exciting here; I just picked up a bottle to bring on my uncle’s sailboat while out spearfishing off California’s coast. Rich brown pour with a mediocre tan head. Nutty burnt aroma with malt. Sweet brown sugar flavor with dry carbonated finish. Definitely missing something.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is acidic with notes of herbs, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, but also a ligth acidity, leading to a dry fruity and acidic finish.

Smells just like raisin bread. Raisins and cinnamon with a hint of malty alcohol. Pours a deep brown/reddish color with little head. Taste is unlike any other beer I’ve tasted. Keep in mind this is my first scotch ale. Creamy and pleasant tasting though.

Bomber from BevMo in SLO. Rich copper red color with no head. Rich caramel malts and dark brown sugar on the nose. Dark molasses and malt flavors with malty sweetness on the finish.

22 oz bottle - murky red and amber color with a barely-not-white thin head. rather intense aroma of caramel malt and darkened sugars - molasses, raisin. toast and wine aromas as well. huge body hides all 8% of the alcohol, as there is not a strong burn but for the very end after the sweetness fades. interesting and tasty beer, probably best enjoyed in late fall.

Bottle shared by SpringsLicker with myself, Suttree, and decaturstevo. Pours pretty dark rusty amber with decent beige head. The aroma is intense salty nuts, light smoke, Italian spices, and vegetables. The flavor is heavy on the boiled cabbage, but smoke and caramel also play a role. There are some malty and charred notes throughout, too.
