Commercial Description:
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

Bottle Pours a cloudy amber with a good off white head. The head is creamy and lasting. Produces some good lacing. Aroma is mostly hops with a bit of sweet malts. Very Pleasent aroma. Has a good carbonation and a nice mouthfeel. The flavor is well blended a good mix of malts and hops but keeping its DIPA style. Very crisp and tasty. Has a watery texture. A good solid bitter finish with a good aftertaste. This is a real good beer.

Bottled. A slightly hazy dark amber beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of hops and grapefruit, as well as medium notes of orangepeal and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, very spicy hops, grapefruit, earth, and alcohol, leading to a very bitter citrusy finish. The alcohol leaves a burn on the tongue.

Poured an average copper color with a decent white head with thick, sticky lacing. The aroma was nice sweet citrus that quickly gave way to sharp, bitter pine hops. The flavor was a light dose of caramel malt and some softer citrus that is quickly trampled by earthy, pine hops. A dry, pine and floral hop assault took over. An enamel-peeling hop bomb. The mouthfeel was above average, medium in body and overall this was a borderline one-dimensional brew that would be superb with the addition of more sweet malt to balance it out.

hazy orange under a small white head. mostly citrus hops with grapefruit and pine in aroma. alcohol was a bit upfront here, as it was the first thing to jump out at me. extremely bitter and hop dominated flavors with some caramel malt beneath. palate is somewhat creamy. pretty good overall, but seemed just a little rough around the edges.

Caramel brown with a thin head. The head is a little weak. It is an average looking beer. Lovely citrus hop aroma. Very pungent beer. Nice floral hop and sweet malt aroma that are just nice. Very pungent and crisp. A very well balanced aroma. Alcohol is present, but then there is this amazing citrus hop flavor that just is everywhere. The bittering hop is extremely nice. I really enjoy that flavor. Nice sweet malt flavor to help with the citrust hop. This beer has one of the best citrus hop flavors that I have ever had. Very creamy palate a wonderful beer. 22 oz. Picked up at Greens on Ponce De Leon.

Tap at the brewery. Golden color with a white head and good lacing. Flowery citrus hop nose. Floral and bitter hop taste with enough malt to hold it all together.

1 pint 6 oz bottle into a nonic. Hazy orange/amber. Pours with 1 1/2 fingers of creamy off white head, which fades slowly to a thin cap. Sporadic lacing as consumed. Smells of pine and grapefruit hoppiness, followed by very sturdy sweet, malty notes. Taste shows a decent bit of sweetness on the front, quickly followed by a rush of resinous pine bitterness. After a few pulls, the prevailing theme here is "resinous/herbal bitterness." Far less balanced than I was expecting based on the smell. Moderate carbonation. Fair amount of oily coating. OK, but just not good enough for repeat business in a market saturated with top notch DIPA’s.
