Commercial Description:
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

Cloudy copper/apricot colored pour with an off-white, rocky head that lingers, leaving a sticky, decorative lace. Pine, slight pepper, and floral notes. This one starts off with grapefruit sweetness and finishes with pine sap & grapefruit bitterness. Great balance. Medium body and average carbonation. A remarkable IIPA.

Source: 22oz bottle purchased in Washington DC.
Appearance: Hazy gold color with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly and left a lot of lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malt and pine.
Flavor: A solid malty caramel base with grapefruit hops and a resiny, bitter finish.
Palate: Medium/full body and slick, sticky mouthfeel.
Overall: A solid IIPA with all of the normal characteristics of a winner.

Bomber poured into a tulip. Half-inch head that diminishes rather quickly. A little carbonation and a frothy lacing. Cloudy evening orange in color. Nose is heavy on the malt, like their barley wine, with blood orange undertones. Flavor is loaded with grapefruit citrus hops and plenty of toasted malt. Medium to heavy body. Lengthy, bitter grapefruit finish.

Very strong grapefruit, floral and spice notes in the hop forward aroma with underlying toasted honey malt character. Lightly hazy copper body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled white head that recedes to a lasting cover. Strong bitterness is well supported by the underlying malt sweetness. Grapefruit and floral notes are plentiful with resinous pine especially in the long and hoppy after taste. Medium full body is offset by very crisp assertive carbonation that is lightly pointy on the tongue and cheeks. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Mar-09.

Lightly hazy, quite clear body. Slightly off-white head. Great aroma of hops: amarillo, flowers, honey, ... Heavily bitter, lighly sweet flavour. Good balance. Quite 1 dimensional on the hops, but not exagerated.

Pours a hazy copper with a thin white head with decent retention. Heavenly oily & floral hop aroma - just stunning. Sharp oily & sudsy hops and a solid malt backbone, finish dries out nice and bitter with lingering floral notes. Great carbonation, crisp body. No complaints. Stellar IPA.

Hazy orange, dense white head with moderate retention and good lacing. Spectacular spicy, floral nose, flavour has a huge bittering hop character balanced by an initial caramel malt sweetness and very well hidden alcohol. Long bitter, peppery finish. Body is moderately creamy with light carbo.
