| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 31, 2009 Very strong grapefruit, floral and spice notes in the hop forward aroma with underlying toasted honey malt character. Lightly hazy copper body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled white head that recedes to a lasting cover. Strong bitterness is well supported by the underlying malt sweetness. Grapefruit and floral notes are plentiful with resinous pine especially in the long and hoppy after taste. Medium full body is offset by very crisp assertive carbonation that is lightly pointy on the tongue and cheeks. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Mar-09. diabel (1372), Aarschot, Belgium

No complaints. Stellar IPA. CapnCascade (116), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
