Mar 30, 2009 Pours a hazy copper with a thin white head with decent retention. Heavenly oily & floral hop aroma - just stunning. Sharp oily & sudsy hops and a solid malt backbone, finish dries out nice and bitter with lingering floral notes. Great carbonation, crisp body. No complaints. Stellar IPA.

Mar 30, 2009 Hazy orange, dense white head with moderate retention and good lacing. Spectacular spicy, floral nose, flavour has a huge bittering hop character balanced by an initial caramel malt sweetness and very well hidden alcohol. Long bitter, peppery finish. Body is moderately creamy with light carbo.

Mar 29, 2009 hazy orange, medium off white head, some lace. nose of pine, citrus, caramel...maybe a touch of naughty monkey. flavor is a bit milder than the aroma would suggest. caramel backbone, with pine notes, hint of grapefruit. creamy mouthfeel, big bitter finish. a bit mild in the flavor department, and the alcohol is too well hidden. but everybody loves naughty monkeys so what the heck? bottle from family liquors in homewood.

Mar 28, 2009 bomber from marino’s in toledo. hazy orange pour with a solid white head and quite a bit of lacing. aroma of topical fruits, grass and pine. lightly toasted malts quickly give way to bitter citrus hops and an astringent grassy finish. medium syrupy body with a fair amount of carbonation. just your average ordinary fantastic california dipa.

Mar 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear dark orange with a large, rocky, off-white head, mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, straw, meal), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, pine, and citrus), average yeast (sweat, dough, soap) with notes of grape, apple, and peach. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

Mar 20, 2009 Draught at The Grad in Davis. Dark gold wit a white head. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit, and light pine, and an underlying maltiness. Hoppy and quite bitter, but much more balanced than hopsickle, and with a dryer malt profile. Lingering bitterness in finish, and light lingering malt sweetness. Light grapefruit and resiny pine bitterness. Medium bodied. Tasty stuff, with a decent malt body and ample hops.

Mar 15, 2009 TAP: cloudy yellow pour, huge head. Nice malty hop nose, somewhat bitter on taste. Taste seems a little empty, like its missing something.
