Commercial Description:
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

22oz bomber. Pours a deep gold, very slight haze, medium-sized off-white head that leaves a few tendrils of lace on the glass. The aroma is very nice - thick and herbal with citrusy hops. There is also a light malty sweetness, like honey and a touch of caramel. The flavor follows the aroma: hoppy with a nice malt sweetness. But there is also a big blast of bitterness. The finish is resiny with bitter citrus and evergreen hops. There is a sticky, balancing malt sweetness throughout. The finish is long and bitter. The mouthfeel is medium-full with a medium dose of carbonation - rich and well-textured for an IPA. Overall, a very tasty and strongly-bittered IPA. Very nicely balanced and, once the palate is acclimated to the almost astringent level of bittering, very drinkable.

Cloudy golden with white head. Plenty of hops in the aroma with pine and toasted malt. Hoppy flavour with loads of pine , graapefruit and apiney notes. Bitter finish.

Pours a sparkling clear, amber color with a white, full, creamy head which is mostly lasting and leaves nice, drippy lace. Wow, dank. Nose is filled with more dank than anything I’ve ever smelled! Other notes of resinous pine, light floral, light wooden notes, and faint ruby red grapefruit. Flavor is similar with dank still being dominant in a moderately high bitterness but with more ruby red grapefruit, wooden notes, some resinous pine (almost sappy), some toffee in the middle, and some faint dry herbal notes. Palate is more than medium, nearly lively, lightly sticky, and mildly dry. Finishes nearly all bitter with some grapefruit, dry herbal notes, faint resinous pine, and a bit of dank. More dank in this one than I remember, otherwise this one was great. Good bitterness, some sweet notes as backbone, good citrus, and not too dry. I’ve tried other MDIPA and I thought they were better but, as is, it was good.

Style and Glass: DIPA, Tulip ABV, Volume & Calories: 8.5% in 22 fl oz. estimated at 400 C Purchased at: Canal’s Burlington, NJ for $8.00 (Thanks, Mike!) Aroma: beautiful, so nice, inviting, hops, cascade, summer nights. Visuals: overwrought advertising and packaging, lots of awards, too much, fiery sunset, dark amber, brilliant, thin white head, staying lace. Taste: well balanced, woody, crisp, hoppy, bitter, good strength. Palate: royal, silky, rocky, longer bitter finish. Overall: A brilliant example of a DIPA. A definite repeat. A favorite. Mike at Canal’s never steers you wrong.

bomber into shaker. very slightly hazy straw golden color with nice creamy white head. Aroma is great, just as good as Dreadnaught or any other IIPA. Flavor is great. Dry resinous piney hops. Not as juicy as the aroma but very nice. Medium body with cood carbonation. Overall: great stuff, and not over the top malty like many IIPAs.

Whoa, absolutley one of the most toungue blistering IPAs I have ever had. None of that anoying malty sweetness to overpower any hops here, this is all bittering hops, and its awesome. Smells of piney, rich resin. This is one of the very few DIPAs that I like. Much better than Hopsickle.

Bottle LCRBM08. A bit hazy, deep golden coloured with a small white foamy layer. solid mix of sweet malt and extreme aromatic piney hops. Very dry and bitter flavour. Lingering - that is understood - dry hoppy and bitter finish, balanced by a subtle sweetness. Great stuff..........

Bomber. Poured a murky orange amber. This has a super piny and grapefruit nose. Sort of a light front, a huge middle, and a great bitter finish. I noticed some interesting spice notes that kind of distinguish this from just the hopslam imperial IPA crowd. Very good, and would have this again, in fact I have,
