| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 10, 2008 pours a somewhat cloudy dark honey orange color with a one finger fluffy off white head. aroma is caramel malt and hops with a little sugar, orange peel, and pine. has descent lacing, medium to heavy body, and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger and the pine really comes out from middle to the aftertaste. the pine sticks on the tongue for a while and there is a big dry hop aftertaste. really nice has some soap that kicks in as well. garretjax (103), Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Copper amber color with fluffy white head. Willowy floral hops aroma with a hint of lime. Heavy body and low carbonation. A kind of steely bitterness in the hoppy flavor. A bit of a disappointing bland short finish. Dough77 (777), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Great IIPA. Big juicy hop flavors spilling out without going to overboard. Nice malt backbone to compliment it well. Very juicy and drinkable. BOLTZ7555 (1096), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 5, 2008 So I’m just not sure if I’m missing something. Moylans is perhaps one of the most underrated brewers I’ve encountered. Everything that I’ve tried from them has been enjoyable and this one is incredible. A sunset pour with yellow daisy, nectarine, and peach appearing as the cloud rises in the body...amazing 1-inch fluffy white head. Aroma is all IIPA: HUGE pine and grapefruit. Flavor is indicative of the aroma, with additions of sweeter malts to balance. Nice sticky palate that is thick enough to make you remember you had a good beer but not too thick to wish you hadn’t. VERY SOLID...try one if it’s available. hopslovin (181), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Golden pour with thick foamy lasting head. Nice cascade of rising bubbles. Piney resinous aroma, slight citrus presence. Hop bomb, very bitter. Malt shows up, but it plays second fiddle to the crescendo of hops. Medium/full mouthfeel, syrupy. More balanced when warms up a bit. Very Good! AgentSteve (1375), SF Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Pours clear, copper color with a full creamy head. The nose is pine resin hop, with some sweet pineapple. There are a lot of "floaters" present in the glass, and I am trying to figure out what this is. After about 10 minutes, the floaties are still there, so I guess this is the way this beer is, so bottoms up! Flavor is a bit understated, with grassy hop flavor standing out, a malt mid, followed be a bitter, lasting finish and a viscous mouthfeel. Decent brew. ante (2942), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 28, 2008 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear amber colour with a low white lace. Sweet and a bit sugary aroma of lychee, resin, canned oranges and alcohol. Full-bodied with strong notes of sweaty lychee,, grass and grapefruit with dense sugary undertones. Bitter and raw finish of grapefruit, grass and lychee.
