Commercial Description:
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

Bomber. Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with almost no head and little carbonation. Nose is citrus, pine, flowers and a touch of malt. Palate is bitter hops, pine sap and grapefruit rind with a thin base of caramel malt. Medium mouth feel. Definitely a hop lovers beer. A little unbalanced, but I like over the top hops so I enjoyed this one. Crisp, clean DIPA.

22oz bottle. Aroma is piney and resiny with some caramel and cookie dough. Copper colored. Taste is bracing bitter. Pine and resin, some caramel malt in the background. This doesn’t mess around.

Dark orange/golden, almost amber color with thick dense head that leaves copious clumps of foam behind. First of all, it smells like a slightly aged double IPA. The hops are there for sure, but caramelly sweet malts stand out making this smell like a hoppy barleywine. Thick, sweet caramel malt flavor with resiny woodsy pine and tropical fruity hops that balance very well, showcasing both malt and hops. Really nice, even though Im sure its not so fresh. Lingering bitter finish. Excellent, smooth and almost creamy with fine bubbled carbonation and medium-heavy feel.

Lots of nice citrus flavors in this one. Had it at a beer tasting at the Perfect Pour in Columbia, MD. Only had a small sample so I can’t comment on the head size or retention, but poured a nice hazy orange color. Lots of good hops aroma and some great hop/citrus kick that lingered on the mouth. nice IPA and you can’t beat the price. $4.99 for a 22 oz bottle.

golden amber color with large white head. very fresh hoppy nose. flavor is sweet malt with a powerful hop component that may cause an understatement of the malt, but not unacceptable for a double ipa. very nice version that is somewhat unique

pours a somewhat cloudy dark honey orange color with a one finger fluffy off white head. aroma is caramel malt and hops with a little sugar, orange peel, and pine. has descent lacing, medium to heavy body, and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger and the pine really comes out from middle to the aftertaste. the pine sticks on the tongue for a while and there is a big dry hop aftertaste. really nice has some soap that kicks in as well.

Copper amber color with fluffy white head. Willowy floral hops aroma with a hint of lime. Heavy body and low carbonation. A kind of steely bitterness in the hoppy flavor. A bit of a disappointing bland short finish.

Great IIPA. Big juicy hop flavors spilling out without going to overboard. Nice malt backbone to compliment it well. Very juicy and drinkable.
