Commercial Description:
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & blankboy - HogTownHarry’s bottle. Hazy orange-copper with a small white head. Aroma of pine needles marinated in grapefruit juice. Flavour of big, puckering grapefruit juice, with caramel and orange lurking behind. Long, dry, lingering finish. Over the top, but pretty fantastic.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev, my bottle. Hazy orange, average fluffy off-white head. Lush fresh resin/citrus zest, herbal, solid orange juice malt backbone. Taste is very, very bitter and very malty - big in both directions - tasty and long bitter finish. Thick body, highly astringent, long grapefruit bitter linger and aftertaste - big damned I2PA, loved it.

this was a delicious beer, hops that just punch you in the face, but are balanced with the strong sweet malt. poured a nice golden tan with a good head, thick mouthfeel taht delivers that hop smack all throughout your mouth, great beer.

Bomber. Poured a slightly-hazy medium orange with a thick and quickly-rising cake of off-white head... filled up the glass too quickly and sealed off some of the aroma. Nose was of pine tar, grapefruit bitterness, some floral, and a sticky-sweet backdrop. Flavor hits you first with floral and mixed citrus bitterness.. jumping around the palate a bit, with caramel, mandarin orange, and grapefruit sweetness at the core. Bitterness was moderate to high.. grainy syrup feel to it. Not bad, but certainly has room for improvement.

Pours a golden/amber color with a thick off white head. Aroma is of earthy spices, floral hops, and some citrus hints. Flavor is of caramel, earth spices and floral hops. Finishes bitter. Not bad but not my favorite.

22 oz bottle. Golden amber with not much head. Aromas are fruity hops with some floral notes. Grass and tangerine. Flavors are lots of caramel and vanilla malts with a hop finish that is mostly just bitter. Not bad, but not my favorite DIPA

22 ounce bottle purchased at the Nugget on Mace in Davis, CA. Aroma is a boisterous, hempy, pine-tree aroma. With a light, sweet, toasty maltiness. Minute ethanol notes are present, with them being the only flaw in this aroma. Sadly, this is a dark golden body that is transparent and totally filtered. The head is frothy, creamy, and large with plentiful lacing. The head is light khaki colored. Start is kind of earthy, woody and hoppy. The middle turns more malty and rather toasted and cereal-grain flavors emerge. A slight astringency follows with more earthy hoppy bitterness in the end. Slight ethanol is detected in the finish. All in all, this is a damn fine IIPA that is balanced and it is a great value. Great work.
