| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Cloudy orange with a cream lacing head. This beer has a very hoppy aroma with citrus hints. The taste is hoppppppy -- this is a good thing and ends with a bitter finish. Not my favorite, but I would buy again. ChristianScheffel (4679), Odense, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Cloudy orange with a lasting white head. Grass and citrus aroma with an off-note of pepper. Dryish and grassy, and very bitter. Better balance than the regular IPA though DaMenace123 (252), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Tap at Flying Saucer Houston. Smells of pine, taste is bitter and hoppy. I wasn’t terribly impressed, it was to be expected but it was a one sided IPA. djd07 (755), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 16, 2009 On tap at flying saucer. Pours a Cloudy orange copper with a small white frothy head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is very hoppy with grapefruit and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a very bitter hop taste with grapefruit and a nice bitter finish. A very good IIPA from moylans. Miksu (2241), Jyväskylä, Finland

Rich lemony, piney and perfumed hop aroma with toffeish maltiness in the background. Firmly bitter and hoppy flavor with big fruity, lemony and soapy hops. Hint of alcohol sharpness. Very hop focused, only light nutty maltiness in the background. Better than Moylans IPA, but in both the hop character is too soapy. drowland (1432), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 13, 2009 This is, of course, good, as you would expect from an award-winning DIPA, but it’s more for the hopheads than for those of us that enjoy a nice balanced super-malty DIPA. So dry it almost leaves you coughing. lassem (316), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2009 Bottle 650 cl. Shared this with a couple of friends. These american douple IPAs tend to be soo heavy and sweet. It would really make them better if they didnt make them soo damn sweet and thick... freshness and lightness my american friends...and keep up the alcohol. The Pour on this one is dark amber with a light white head. The nose is full of malts, and overdone or even rotten citric fruits like mango.. almost like its somehow tainted. It has a heavy bitterness in the taste and a palte that is even more fat than the guy on fatboys slims debut cover. Its pretty synthetic and can not be be called balanced.. and way too malty for my taste
