Pours hazy brown to deep orange and with a lacing off-white head. Hoppy and caramel malty aroma. Soft woody and dry hoppy flavour. Has a very subdued sweetness with is completely outconquered by the barley and the hoppy flavours. Has a mild spice note lingering into the finish and leaves a nice complex sensation. Ends mild and yet complex. scrizzz (1327), kirkland, Washington, USA

Very good malt and hop aroma. Good malty body, with its fairly hop share, caramelly and chocolatey. Good Barley Wine or American Strong Ale, even if a bit unemotional; but I like it. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
