Poured from a bomber. The aroma is odd and earthy. There’s some raisins and some artificial fruit aromas. Kinda like Boo Berry cereal with an odd spiciness to it. The appearance is a thin oily-like white head that just doesn’t fully go away. The body is a clear mahogany with some small white particulate matter in it. The flavor is rich and malty. Raisins and earthy. Brandy hides under the taninish flavor. Bitter herbal hops are also very present. Reminiscent of dandelions. The palate is oily and has a decent thickness. Very unique.

an brownish copperish color w/ a small tan/off white head that broke up to quickly but laced ok. The smell is first an odd sweet malt definate raisens and something I can’t place also a bit o’ plum and something just odd. Palate fairly creamy decent body coats pretty well. Flavor is a sweet malt covered raisen the only way to put it an odd sticky finish to it and hints of alcohol in the post swallow. Definatelly a dry bitter hop in the swallow too. Thanks to blake for this one.

This is a dark reddish-brown, murky looking kind of an ale. I can’t tell you about the head, since it vanished when I poured, leaving a sad looking film on top of the brew. This is a thick, chunky barley wine. The aroma is a "dark" malt with earthy hop scents and some alcohol. The flavor is caramel malts and more of the earthy/herbal hops. It’s got a sticky alcohol finish. Okay, but I probably won’t be repeating this one.

Deep red orange with brown accents. Huge foamy white head. Syrupy malt aromatics with an unfortunate medicinal alcohol undertone. Amber and caramel malt flavors, muted floral undertone of hops. Sticky and medicinal finish. Mouthfeel is medium and very sticky rather than chewy.

Chunky pour with lots of brown/black floaties, kinda ugly. Fairly uninteresting nose of cherries, aged caramel and toast. Flavors of caramel, brandy and earth. Mouthfeel is thin and muddled. Travels to the back of the throat like cough medicine, a bit disappointing. An average at best barleywine.

A rightfully thick head and has copper brown hue. Aroma is strange and reminds me of a vanilla or some other kind of ice cream. Has a mild malt flavor with a slight sweetness and a pinch of hops as well, but other than that this is an ordinary barleywine. Alcohol is well masked even though it will have its effects.

Deep red color thick tan head. Huge malt aroma and raisins everywhere. Straighforward and borderline unimpressive in the mouth. my bottle didn’t have a very good hop presence but a nice alcohol warming at the end. Wouldn’t be too bad except I thought the flavor was nasty.
