A very ncie fruit ale. I would have though pomegranate would be too delicate to brew with, but it turns out alright. Very light, berry sweetness, crisp and good for the summer.

On tap at Pete’s in Danville. Whoa.. I was a little embarrassed to receive this one at the bar. Pink beer? Purple head? This is surely a chic beer. The aroma is nice and predictable, wheat and berries. Tastes very berry sweet with some wheat breadiness behind it. Light bodied and refreshing.

Oregon Brew Fest: light red in color flavor is a decent mix of malt and pomegranate but both are pretty weak.

On tap at the brewpub on 6/30/09. Pours hazy pink, white head. Funky currant, berry and bread aroma that is very enticing. However, the flavors don’t meld well. It’s a strange complexity and I admire the effort. Very drinkable summer brew, but it is a bit too off the wall for me. If that’s what they were going for, then nice job.

Draft. Reddish amber color with an off-white head. Fruity pommegranite aroma with a bit of wheat. Wheat flavor with nice pommegranite and a bit of tartness. Medium-light body. Easy drinking. Pommegranite and wheat lingers.

On tap at Naked City’s Moylan’s Night. Pours clear reddish pink with a nice pink head. Just what you’d expect- pomegranate and wheat, along with some caramel. Not bad, but I don’t know how often I’d be in the mood for this.
