Dark brown with firm nitro suds. Coffee and cocoa in the nose. Enough texture and dimension to fill up the lack of effervescence. Bitterness is very hit and run. My girlfriend loved it and usually can’t stand dark beers -- her thoughts are more interesting: ’Deep flavor without a lot of bitterness. Very smooth. More yin than yang.’
