Chocolate truffles, cocoa, espresso coffee, burnt currants, the sweetness of a sherry - all come to mind when enjoying an Imperial Stout. A rich porter of English origin brewed to withstand the long voyage from London to Czarist Russia. The classic "Winter Warmer". Big, Strong, Malty Stout.

Bottle. Pours a black body with 2 finger tan head. Chocolate, coco, roasty coffee, and some dark fruits. Alcohol latent fruit with a smoky dry woodiness.

Black colour, small tan head. Aroma is smooth and creamy coffee. Flavour has toasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Bitter hop finish.

Pours dark brown with a thick mocha head that fades quickly. Aroma is chocolate, espresso, and dark fruit. Taste is the same with a decent bitter bite.

Pours a dark brown color with thick light brown head that fades quickly. Aroma is of charred wood, molasses, dark fruit and chocolate. Taste is much the same. Palate is creamy without the chewiness found in some impys. Good stuff.

Pours jet black with light tan head. smells of sweet wood and mild smoke. mouth feel is realitively crisp. taste is molasses and iodine. somewhat high alcohol lingers afterwards. i like it, can i have another.

22oz Bottle: Aroma of malts, soy sauce, smoke, chocolate, bread, and slight burning. Poured pitch black in color with a small brown head that only lasted around the edges. Opaque. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of roasted and burnt malts, chocolate, slight coffee, slight alcohol, molasses, slight piney hops, and tar. Medium body. Smooth, creamy texture. Average carbonation. Roasted/burnt malt, chocolate, and tar finish.

Black colored brew. Aroma is burned, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is coffee, espresso, chocolate, hoppy. Creamy palate. Very nice.

bottle. black pour with a small brown head. aroma is full of chocolate, currants, and some hints of coffee. Flavor is very bold with big notes of chocolate, raisins, booze and a nice finish of coffee and a slight bitterness.
