Mar 28, 2007 Bottle. [Blind tasting session @ Sk8viking] #17 Large creamy light brown head that mostly lasted. Excellent lacing. Pitch black color. Aroma was molasses, chocolate, coffee, roasted and nutty. A surprising fruity notes like peach and melon with some dry fruit in there as well. Full bodied with a soft carbonation. Excellent sweet finish.

Mar 25, 2007 Blind rating at sk8viking´s. Black with brownish head. Smells of vanilla. Very sweet with flavors of vanilla. Also fruity flavors of dades and melon. Full bodied. Medium carbonation. Sweet finish with notes of vanilla.

Mar 23, 2007 22oz. bomber thanks to DB. Black in color with a huge tan head. Deep roasted malt aroma with some coffee, milk chocolate and ashes. Flavor is somewhat sweet, with a strong roasted malt taste. Coffee, chocolate and mild hops round out the flavors.

Mar 23, 2007 Updated: Jul 25, 2007Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge brown head - due to a high level of carbonation. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate, coffee, and hard roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong chocolaty notes giving it slightly acidic notes, the hops giving it a quite bitter end.

Mar 18, 2007 Pours black with a brown creamy head. Aroma of espresso, chocolate, sweet malt. Taste is pretty much the same, with a whipped mouse and sweet dark cherry almost wine like.
