Commercial Description:
Chocolate truffles, cocoa, espresso coffee, burnt currants, the sweetness of a sherry - all come to mind when enjoying an Imperial Stout. A rich porter of English origin brewed to withstand the long voyage from London to Czarist Russia. The classic "Winter Warmer". Big, Strong, Malty Stout.

22oz. bomber thanks to DB. Black in color with a huge tan head. Deep roasted malt aroma with some coffee, milk chocolate and ashes. Flavor is somewhat sweet, with a strong roasted malt taste. Coffee, chocolate and mild hops round out the flavors.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge brown head - due to a high level of carbonation. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate, coffee, and hard roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong chocolaty notes giving it slightly acidic notes, the hops giving it a quite bitter end.

Pours black with a brown creamy head. Aroma of espresso, chocolate, sweet malt. Taste is pretty much the same, with a whipped mouse and sweet dark cherry almost wine like.
