Commercial Description:
Chocolate truffles, cocoa, espresso coffee, burnt currants, the sweetness of a sherry - all come to mind when enjoying an Imperial Stout. A rich porter of English origin brewed to withstand the long voyage from London to Czarist Russia. The classic "Winter Warmer". Big, Strong, Malty Stout.

22oz bottle. Dry chocolate espresso aroma is smoky, lucid, and very nice. Not over the top but well meshed and nicely done. Pour has a nice head and good lacing. Roasty taste has a lot of java, is dry, and complements the aroma nicely. Drinks well, if not a little boozy. Very enjoyable, and fairly unique in its dryness and subteltly. Highly recommended.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD! Pours a very dark black color with a nice khaki head on top that is leaving wonderful lacing. Aroma is full of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, and hints of alcohol. Flavor is chocolate, vanilla, coffee, raisins, roasted malts, and alcohol at the end. The flavor in this beer is quite enjoyable and very complex. The beer finishes quite nicely with just a slight hint of alcohol warmth. Age would definitely make this beer mature and produce more flavors. A very enjoyable beer as is, very nice to have on a cold winter night.

Aroma of coffee and chocolate toasted malt.Opaque brown black color with a tan head that didn’t last long. Starts with chocolate oscillates between coffee and chocolate, then finishes with roasted bitter. At some points there seems to be a bit of flowery hop, but the roasted malt always returns. Really interesting stuff.

Bomber. Whoo-a! Great Imperial stout. Black as night, roasted peaty smokey aromas and flavors, a tiny dose of bitterness, a perfectly balanced well executed black beauty.

Pitch black pour with a big foamy red hued head. Aroma is roasted chocolate sweet malts. The flavor is true to the aroma, only much more robust. The Full bodied flavors starts with a very slight bitter hop. But quickly grows into big chocolate coffee malts that peek before a slow steady finish. There is no indication from the flavor as to the high alcohol content. Very Very good.

Bomber courtesy of Boboski. Pours obsidian with a milk chocolate head. Yummy! Chewy bubbles. Bitter dark chocolate and smoke aroma. Coffee, chocolate, blueberries, black cherries. Yeah, it’s all there and it’s all good. Sticky, oily. Lasting bitterness. Hard to find anything to complain about, except I had to share with my wife. So it goes.

22 oz bottle via Mysteryswap (thanks FlacOAlto!).Pours near black with a massive chunky tan head. Nose is a wonderful subtle bouquet of vanilla, chocolate, espresso, and floral hops. Taste is exactly like the nose with a roasted black patent finish. Light carbonation. Only complaint is it is a bit thin bodied for an Imp Stout, i would call it a high abv Foreign Stout..... Aside from style though, this is a near perfect beer.
