Commercial Description:
Chocolate truffles, cocoa, espresso coffee, burnt currants, the sweetness of a sherry - all come to mind when enjoying an Imperial Stout. A rich porter of English origin brewed to withstand the long voyage from London to Czarist Russia. The classic "Winter Warmer". Big, Strong, Malty Stout.

A rich roasted aroma, with coffee, milk, and overall Starbucks character. Very dark brown, hazy, with a rich dark cream head. Coffee and chocolate, in the classic dimensions of an Imperial Stout, but a normal (average) palate. Overall a very drinkable imperial stout.

pours dark brown that is almost black. aroma is chocolate and coffee. taste is overly sweet with more coffee and a bitter finish that keeps this honest. enjoyable.

Bottle overflowed a bit when I opened it. Big thick creamy head. Nose has plenty of coffee and chocolate along with an off smell which, along with the gushing, leads me to believe that this may have been infected. If it was infected it wasn’t bad - flavor is sweet chocolate, vanilla, rasins. Lingering warm cocoa finish. I’d love to test another bottle.

Big rich mouthfeel somewhat oily. Burnt cocoa and bakers chocolate with some liquorice and madeira. Vero opaque black body, slightly brown head with poor retention. Clean and huge finish with lingering roaste malts and a bit of hop.

Mmmmmmm bitch! Very flavorfull, I got chocolate, toffee, licorice, molasses, and some roasty cofee. Seemed to all go together well, I’m going to age a few more bottles as I could see this really improving. Nice alcohol warming.

Poured black with a thick creamy chocolate head and heavy lacing. Aroma is nice, roasty chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate and coffee with a slight alcohol finish. This is a good, good stout!

Chocolate nose, slight coffee, thick, opaque black, whiteish head, strong coffee notes, thick pallet, heavy mouth feel. Amazing beer, I like this more than the Stone Russian Imperial.

aroma and flavor are both mostly roasted malts, chocolate, and a slight hint of coffee. This isn’t a imperial stout that stands out, but it isn’t one that you really won’t dislike. It’s just solid were it is. by no means is this a bad stout.
